Leonie Obenauer

Leonie Obenauer first fell in love with the tactile art of knitwear in Berlin, where she was drawn to the textures, colors, and stories woven into every stitch.

Originally from Germany, she began her creative journey with a degree in Communication Studies before immersing herself in Berlin’s vibrant fashion scene and pursuing design. After two years in Germany’s fashion industry, Leonie moved to Florence to deepen her understanding of textiles and is now studying in the Textiles: From Farm to Fabric to Fashion Master’s program at Polimoda. With a passion for knitwear, weaving, and storytelling, she brings a curious and thoughtful approach to every design, seamlessly blending tradition with innovation.

Her work balances poised maturity with a sense of naïve freshness, resulting in a distinct and unique aesthetic.
